Changes in Safety Data Sheets
New SDS Regulation
Administrative and technical procedures and principles regarding the preparation and distribution of safety data sheets have been regulated with the new Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Regulation in order to ensure effective control and efficient surveillance of harmful substances and mixtures placed on the market against the negative effects they may create on human health and the environment.
Safety Data Sheet Using
In this section, information about the person who prepared the SDS, information about the number of revisions and the reason for the revision, explanations of the phrases related to the raw material classifications given in article 3 and other information are included.
Development of MSDS
Preparation of the label of the substance from the Annex 2 classification. The classification data of Annex 2 is sufficient to prepare the label. The chemical name must be appropriately stated. In addition, the hazard symbol(s) and R-phrases have been identified.
